Ben Brown awarded Higher Rights of Audience

Everyone at Bhatia Best would like to congratulate Ben Brown on being awarded Higher Rights of Audience.

Ben is a Solicitor based at our busy Mansfield office and represents clients on a daily basis in both the regions Police Stations and Magistrates Court. By successfully completing the Higher Rights of Audience Qualification, Ben is now able to represent clients before the Crown Court, High Court, Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court.

The Higher Rights of Audience Qualification involves an intensive training course in London which covers advocacy, case preparation, procedure and the law. Following the course, there is then a three-part examination process consisting of a written paper and two advocacy assessments.

Tom Oates, Partner of the firm’s Criminal Department said “This achievement really is the culmination of a lot of hard work and effort put in by Ben over the last few months. To obtain his higher rights of audience alongside completing the Professional Skills Course, whilst qualifying as a Solicitor, is a fantastic achievement by Ben. We are very proud of Ben’s continued accomplishments.”
