Letter of Warning
As part of our free initial consultation, we assess the merits of your case.
It may be that your partner has molested you but there isn’t a history of abuse.
The courts will expect to see a letter of warning before an application to the court for a protective order is made.
Is Legal Aid available?
Yes – it is subject to the merits of your case and your means. We can draft a letter of warning to an ‘associated person’ under the Legal Help Scheme.
Should you not qualify for this then we can offer a competitive fixed fee.
What if it is ignored?
If the domestic abuse continues then your prospects of obtaining a Non Molestation Order or an Occupation Order are improved.
