A Bhatia Best Trainee Solicitor secured a prestigious university award after her work was assessed as the best in her year.
Bethany Tuplin completed a year-long work placement as part of her undergraduate law degree with Nottingham Law School. As part of the course, Bethany was required to prepare a portfolio of work she had undertaken during her time at Bhatia Best.
The portfolio contained a wide range of legal work that Bethany had completed during her time in our Public Law & Community Care Department based at our Nottingham office. Bethany was initially supposed to undertake a 36-week placement, but Bhatia Best extended this due to her hard work and commitment.
The award – which is sponsored by a local firm of solicitors – is only given to one student across the entire course. Bethany will also receive a £100.00 prize for her achievement.
Aside from the portfolio, Bethany was also required to undertake an oral presentation, compile a professional skills record and keep a daily journal.
Due largely to her performance during her work placement, Bethany was welcomed back to the firm following completion of her degree and has since commenced her training contract.
Everyone at Bhatia Best wishes Bethany continued success in her career.
